Home at last =) We were supposed to leave waterloo at 3:30-ish, but my mom didn't get up there until 4, but half an hour, no big deal right? The moment we get onto the highway we knew we were in for a long ride..... -_-;;. The road/highway system in waterloo needs some massive fixing.... we spent probly 15 min in some long line that was slowly merging its way onto hwy 8 or something en route to hwy401. so we decided it would probly be faster to just get out of this line and get back onto the highway at some later point. so after much map consulting and a bit of "car swimming" (think in chinese) we find another entrance onto hwy 8... but of course, this ramp also has a massive line waiting to get on. After about an hour more of slowly creeping along, the traffic finally clears up (turns out there was an accident a bit further down). So we're cruising along at a reasonable speed, when once again we find ourselves at a dead stop. funfun. To make long story... slightly less long, we planned on being home by 5.... got home at 7..... ::oooozes:: that's a long time in the car... a lot of wasted time in the car....
