I've gotten marks back for 4 of my 5 midterms.... that was kinda depressing. expected, but depressing. Math marks were mid-60-ish... a "chinese-alright" in programming... and flat out fail in physics T_T. I'm pretty sure I did good in chem though, but most of the TA's and profs are out of town this week (don't remember what for) so chem hasn't been marked yet, and thus I won't find out mark til later....
Well, on to happier things. I'm doing pretty good in my programming class, even went on to try the advanced excerises today (recall that angeline has had near zero previous programming experience). Tuesdays are nice: 2 hour programming lab, 1 hour chem lecture, and 1 hour physics lecture... most other days are 4 straight hours of lectures. And physics is a fun class as well, our prof is cool =D. He's the kind of person who gets really excited about the stuff he teaches, and goes off on a lot of unrelated but interesting tangents.... all in all a fun class to be in =)
Odie's blog has a new look now =) Lots of blue.... I've tried making non-blue layouts on the past, but those always died a swift death. I started up a green version of Scribbles once (like an olive-y green), and I had a bunch of fun experimenting with that, since the whole thing was built completely using divs and css... it felt good to be table-free :D. I love css, hehe. It's pretty standard stuff now, but for me it'll always be a novelty :D
I've been seeing a bunch of random Turner people around... which I guess shouldn't be all that surprising, but it's still kinda 'woah'-like to have someone walk up to you and say "Turner Fenton?". haha, that happened during Frosh week, and it was really odd too. I was in the main Village 1 complex to register for residence orientation, and out of the blue one of the 3 people doing registration asks if I'm from Turner Fenton.. O_O. The reason that's so weird is because since that person was helping out, it means they had to be at least 2nd year, and thus probly 2 years older than me (in the double cohort and all, though a lot of people fast-track as well). My aquaintances from Turner Fenton don't extend past one year up, so I was very confused at the time. I kinda gave the person a blank-confused look, saying "yeah, i am..... do i know you???". Hehe, it turns out she knew of me from my self-portrait back in grade 9, which over the years had found it's way onto the wall of the main office O_o. I thought they'd gotten rid of that thing years ago... it seemed so battered the last time i saw it.
And as a final note, Cookies 'n' Creme chocolate milk is disgusting.
oyasumi nasai =)
