Going home today, hurrah. I think it's been 3-4 weeks, hehehe. And probly won't be home again until end of finals. I end on the 15th :D giving me 2 days til LOTR comes out (droooool, someone come with me??? please???). Other news; spent most of yesterday struggling through programming (and have many witnesses of this ;))... Tschebychev Polynomials o_o... it looks something like:

T(n) = 2xT(n-1) - T(n-2); where T(0)=1, T(1)=x

So my program required a recursive function (a function that calls itself)... I hate recursive functions, I can't ever get the ending conditions right so I overload my stack memory or whatever it is. Plus we were also using vectors, which has the added problem of the ability to accidentally access memory that isn't allocated to that vector (you create a vector of a certain size, but it doesn't tell you if you accidentally go over the bounds when doing stuff... leads to weird errors :|). Much headaching was had. OD! my brain is still intact! :D hehehe. I feel kinda sorry for my programming TA's.... they have to manually go through printouts of our code and mark it O_o. That's insaaane. It's been relatively small programs so far, 2 pages or so, but can you imagine trying to go through raw code like that and seeing if it works properly just from that??? O_o insaaane. And they have to mark probly a good 60 students each, if not more. One of the reasons I would never go into teaching, hehe.

Getting cold up here in 'loo (through it still doesn't compare with Calgary.... snow already?! hehehe), and still in need of a proper plate. Microwaving pizza on paper towels isn't all that bad, but a plate would be so much easier. Hmm, though I don't need to wash paper towels either.....
