I feel so disoriented. I think i've gone nocturnal, hehe.

I just woke up @ 11 pm O_o. It's not all that bad, I guess, but it's very disorienting. This napping business is throwing me off nicely. Everything is kinda blurred together in my mind... let's see... thursday night, got in an hour of sleep (well, more friday morning... @8 ::twiddles::), Friday I finished my report @4, so I had dinner and slept @ 5-ish. I thought I'd end up sleeping til the next day cause I felt so tired, but then I ended up waking again at 11... and of course that means that I was incapable of falling alseep again, so I was up to about 4am before passing out again, hehe. Woke up today at i guess 10am-ish? I didn't really look at the clock for a while, but I was definately awake before 11, hehe. I spent the morning and early afternoon working on Scribbles, but didn't really have enough creative energy to finish it off, so the front page is still pretty blank.

I've noticed that my layouts get simpler as I go along.... I was looking through my layout archives (not a lot of stuff in there though, hehe) and a couple of the layout I had in there were pretty cool. But they were also kinda disfunctional, which I guess is why my layout are simpler now. I loved version 2 of Scribbles.. now that was eyecandy... hehe. I spent so much time working on that layout and trying to make it all work, but I eventually scrapped it because of it's restrictiveness... it really only looked nice on a 1024x768 screen, anything else looked kinda odd (although thinking about it now, I never really tested on larger resolutions... but then who used such large resolution back then, right? ;p). It was also done without any css.... I couldn't imagine trying to pull that off now, hehe. I had the page set up as a large table with an iframe in the middle. It was also really more of a webpage than a website, hehe. but yeah, I love CSS :D

After uploading my afternoon's work, I lazed about for a bit, then went to grab a late lunch and play piano. There was another guy right outside the music room when I went up, and he was playing the trombone, hehee. People like that must be pretty dedicated to bring their instruments to university, hehe. I didn't really hear much of his playing though, cause my horrible piano-ing drowned out most of it ;). A couple times other times I've met a saxophone player up there, and he's pretty good :D. He asked me to jam with him once too! He was under the impression that I knew how to jam, haha... one of the songs I was playing with sounded like just a bunch of chords, so I guess it seemed like I was making it up on the spot. But nopenope, my piano skills suck, so I declined (my harmony is even worse, hehe). But that would've been pretty cool, hehe.

Napped again after piano, and just woke up an hour ago... hehe. Looks like I'll be up late again tonight :S
