Today's been a pretty decent day. Pulled off my nocturnal thing again (thank you calculus), so I pretty much slept through my physics tutorial. I stuggled for a bit, but then figured I may as well sleep during that one tutorial than through my 4 lectures. Woke up in time to write the quiz (that would've been pretty sad) which was surprisingly easy, but that was good since it meant I could leave earlier and try to catch what sleep I could during my hour break. Unfortunately, I didn't hear my alarm clock, or maybe I just turned it off in my sleep, so I woke up at 1:00, but my class started at 12:30 :S. Luckily, I think my alarm clock is 15 min early, so I managed to get to class before 1.... still missed the first 25 min, but luckily all the notes were still on the board, and people were asking lots of questions, so I had time to catch up.
Didn't sleep through any of my lectures (yay!) partly because today's lectures were interesting enough to keep me awake, hehe. We've finally reached integration in calculus (fun fun), though that was only in the last 5 min of class. The first 20 min I spent semi-frantically copying notes about the exponential function and differential equations and more whooshiness.. hehehe. In my programming class, we got into sorting algorithms and got volunteers to go up in front to demonstrate the algorithms (sorting based on height and stuff). The second group to go up was kinda amusing, cause the guys were all practically the same height, hehe. Algebra was as weird as ever, but the prof is interesting (he likes to play with the mathy language a bit.... hard to explain). He also kinda looks like Fred Penner O_o, hehehe. And physics is always interesting (good profs help =)). We're onto torques now, stuff I never did in highschool, so staying awake would be a very good idea =)
There's a mini book sale going on in the SLC (Student Life Center... they've got everything you need there, supplies, food, used bookstore, arcade, and a nice big lounging space :D).. I ogled the books for a bit ;) There were a couple I saw that I wanted to buy... I don't remember exact title names, but they were both by Guy Gavriel Kay.. I'd read one of his big series before (and it was because of that series that I picked up LOTR... mmm), and it was pretty good stuff. Toronto author too, bonus points :D. I'm going to stop by again later and buy one of the books. I'd get the other as well, but it's volume two of a series, and I didn't see volume 1 anywhere.
Off to find myself some piano/dinner/book/remedial classes (-_-;;)... speaking of which, I'm also now in extra help sessions cause I blew midterms nicely.... I missed the first one though, got lost trying to find it then walked in on the wrong class, but didn't realize til later. I probly looked like such an idiot, haha.
Hoping to get a good chunk of physics assignment done today... we'll see how that goes, hehe.
