Kingston is like Waterloo x10

We went up to Queens this past weekend to visit Babak, have a look around the city/campus, and just hang out away from school for a bit. Streets in Kingston are insaaane. Waterloo streets are pretty crazy, they turn all over the place, switch names all over the place, and intersect with "parallel" streets. Well Kingston is kinda like that, but with more turning, crazily angled intersections, and topped with a large serving of one-way streets.

There was also a lack of street signs. Well, 3 that we noticed, but one of those was the street we were looking for...
We drove all the way through King St. (the main street of sorts... runs around the campus and through the downtown area) twice, and had to call for help a couple times too, lol. We ended up on the right street by stroke of luck (or driver frustration, hehe). It was an interesting ride =)

The ride back home was torturous , but I'll get that that later...

Duck Hunt!! Hehe, haven't played that in sooo long. We got a whirlwind tour of the campus, and tried to sneak into the residence to play foosball. We got in, but they didn't have the foosball tables yet =/
Beach vollyball was fun, though my team lost nearly every game =P. Ahhh, my forearms feel so abused.

The campus looked cool and medival, but I found it more dull and colourless than anything. At least from the outside... everything is gray brick. You've got maybe 3 or 4 slightly different shades of gray, but it's still all gray. I think I'd be pretty depressed if I had to live in that environment for 5 years.

The houses, on the other hand, were cute and colourful =)
And Babak has such a nice house. I'd almost say it's nicer than my Brampton home. Allllmost.

The ride home was death. 401 in rush hour, with sun in eyes the whole way. /_\

I could've sworn the hole in the ship in mario cart was a short cut... grrrr
