I hate doing it, as most of the time I have nooo idea what people want or may like. Stuffed animals are overdone, as I'm sure some of you *coughodiecough* can relate with ;)
I was thinking of not-so-subtly hinting at my wish item this year (which I've only just decided I wanted as well, haha) since I get lots of complaints as to how hard it is to buy stuff for me =P. But I figure that'll be a bad idea, since I may end up with multiple things. Plus that would be more than a little self-centered of me, considering I'll be doing minimal Xmas shopping myself :$
I'll just ask my parents to find/buy it for me when I go home, haha
Speaking of wish items, a couple Xmases ago I received my wish item and then some, without ever telling anyone what it was I wanted :O That was awesome, hehe. I had wanted a scarf that year, since mine were ugly, itchy, and worn down. I ended up getting not only a spiffy new scarf, but a hat and mitts as well ^^. And they all matched! Hehe, aaanyway...
If you want a gift this year, you'd best start dropping solid hints in my direction ;)
(Actually, I may have mentioned wanting a scarf on my blog.... I don't remember)
