Life currently consists of labs, looming projects, and many deadlines. I find myself wishing for 3A again, though without all the internal turmoil that 3A contained.
Last school term I felt hopeless lost because, for the most part, I simply hadn't been paying attention. This term, I feel hopelessly lost because.. well.. I am :|
Fourier, Jacob[ians], Taylor, and the Cramer that I've never properly been introduced to have all banded together this term to bite me in the rear. Also LaPlace, but he's cool in my books. All that stuff that was never properly taught in our Spiked! labs? It seems we need to know that stuff too. On the plus side, oscilloscopes now make sense.
My "Software Engineering" course is more like "How to Document How You Plan on Designing Software and/or the Software Lifecycle". I'm not entirely sure, as the class moves at a mindnumbingly slow pace.... it seems to be necessary to underline, highlight and circle every word on a given slide -- prepositions and articles included. I'm sure it's all stuff that I ought to get used to doing (good documentation is a good thing), but as I'm currently also in a course that's discussing the downfalls of bureaucratic organizations, I find this painfully detailed form of documentation to be very much a waste of time.
So many deadlines >_<
