So often people don't mean what they say, and don't say what they mean. It's just as frustrating for the speaker, wanting to say something but being unable to say it. Having been in a male-dominated program for 5 years now, I find that all my friends are guys, and so I don't have anyone I can truly relate to and talk with, though it's nice knowing that most guys are straight-forward and bluntly honest. The problem has only been exacerbated this term, as I know no one in my classes, and everyone else already has their set cliques (or so it seems).
Sometimes I think it would be nicely therapeutic to find an open, solitary area to just yell in for a while. Totally doesn't suit my image though >.> Brings to mind little girls on the playground having ear-splitting "screaming contests". It's no wonder I hung around guys, really.
So instead, I throw out sanitized rantings for all the Internet to see (and often "sanitized" to the point where I say nothing at all worth saying). Totally illogical, but there's something about the perceived anonymity of a personal blog...... yeah, definitely illogical ><. On a brighter note, I've been feeling better term than I have during any of my previous winter terms, for various reasons. Hopefully this bodes well for my school work.
