So much food this weekend. Went to Steve's place on Sat for breakfast: eggs benedict with bacon and diced potatoes ("So good"). So much food, had me stuffed up til dinner. It was more of a brunch than breakfast though, seeing as we ate almost at 11 =P
Stuck around at Steve's for a while while we waited for others to come back from the CCF Appreciation Lunch. Speaking of which, chickens let out a lot of grease. You know you're chinese when you see that and say "Yum" (eeeeewww).
Eric took a bunch of us out to buy hockey equip for next term. [Me, Chris, Severn, Steve, frosh Kevin, and Johnny]. Yup, that's right... I've been talked into joining the CCF ice hockey team, haha. The guys managed to find really cheap shoulder pads ($20), but most else was sold out or costly. All the junior-sized stuff was gone, so I wandered over to the Chapters next door, haha.
After our National Sports adventures, we headed off to Westcourt for dinner. Steve and I went back to Steve's place to grab the leftover rice from the CCF lunch and make some mashed potatoes as well. Sadly, the water didn't boil as quickly as we had expected it to, so we showed up at Westcourt over an hour late, haha. They kept calling and telling up to hurry ("we're starving!"). Despite being 8pm at the time, I was still feeling breakfast in my stomach... but I ended up eating a lot for dinner anyway, haha. "So good". The ribs were amazingly good. They were huge too; we all looked like barbarians trying to eat those things, haha. Ribs curtesy of Johnny, shepherd's pie from betty, mash potatoes, spaghetti w/ mushroom sauce, and Grace's apple crumble. So good :D
Haha, was so full after, couldn't stand straight. I had to walk it off outside =P
Chris Moo's signature phrase is "so good". It has caught on really fast, haha, even among the people that don't like using it ;)
A bunch of people showed up before/during/after dinner. We (me, steve, chris moo) were teaching Vanessa how to rollerblade while I was walking off dinner, haha. We three then played Smash Bros/Mario Cart after. Chris wiped the floor with us, even when we had the computer helping, haha.
Was dead tired when I finally left (around 1, hehe oops) but good times, good times. So good ;)
