Late posting, oops (Seems I've developed my own loading bar these days)
So, me and the guys from 'loo + 1 sister (not mine) went down to the lantern festival on Saturday. Like J said, it probably wasn't worth the $18, mostly because it felt more like looking at floats than looking at lanterns (thank technology for that..). Was still fun hanging around with people that share my nerdy sense of humour though =P
There were 3 exhibits that I really liked though:
- The field of pandas (sooo cute!)
- A really long dragon made of ceramic plates (80m? very cool)
- A dragon-phoenix pair made of chinese spoons and cups and the like
The dragon-phoenix pair was very pretty, I kinda wish I had gotten a better look at it. Pics up over at bakabaka, I'll link some of the better ones later.
Edit: The pics are fuzzy because the exposure time is longer without flash on, and my hands aren't very steady :S
